Adobe After Effects continously crashes when I attempt to render anything. How do I render without the After Effects notification about it "not working" and then shutting down the whole programme?

I've read forums and I tried to get the solution for this problem for about a week now and nothing seems to help. Everytime I attmept to export and render the file a window comes up saying: "Adobe After Effects CC 2015.2 has stopped working" followed by "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available". I have a deadline to complete this piece of work and the constant crashing is really slowing me down as I am unable to render anything. Please can you help me find a solution for this problem. Thank you
